We are looking for Transport office administrator to join our team in Worcestershire! You will work closely with the planning team to ensure that all paperwork is in place and operational targets can be met.
- Support traffic desk on allocating drivers work based on client requirement.
- Handle inbound calls and messages from drivers and providing assistance where needed.
- Help with ensuring jobs have required permits in place.
- Process and handle PODs to meet customer requirements where necessary.
- Coordinate fleet schedules and monitor vehicle availability to maintain operational efficiency
- Support with customs paper work to ensure smoother Import and exports. Ensure all documentation is accurate in a timely manner including commercial invoice, packing list and declarations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across transport operationsBe proactive in approaching and engaging with existing customers to generate income
- Respond in a timely manner to problem or concerns from customers within the required turnaround time.
Transport office administrator
- Previous knowledge of the Transport Industry would be advantageous but not necessary as training will be provided
- Customer focused with dedication in your service delivery to meet Customer needs.
- Possess the ability to maintain positivity when working under pressure reprioritising workload where necessary.Be reliable with the ability to multitask and have strong problem-solving skills.
- Have strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numeracy.
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly as required i.e. Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both verbal/written with a polite, courteous, and professional telephone manner.
Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
