This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants more than simply managing the day-to-day running of a practice. You’ll have the opportunity to lead a team, improve patient experience, support practice growth and make a real difference, while having the backing of an established dental organisation.
We’re ideally looking for someone with a minimum 12 months’ dental management experience, but we would also welcome applications from an experienced Deputy Practice Manager, Assistant Practice Manager or senior dental professional who is ready to take the next step.
The Role
You’ll take responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the practice, working closely with the Principal Dentist and wider Smart Dental Care team.
Your role will include:
- Leading, supporting and developing the practice team
- Managing rotas, recruitment, onboarding and performance
- Supporting excellent patient care and customer service
- Monitoring practice performance, KPIs and diary utilisation
- Supporting NHS and private growth opportunities
- Maintaining high standards of CQC compliance and clinical governance
- Managing complaints, stock, suppliers and day-to-day operations
- Working with our central support teams across HR, recruitment, marketing, finance and compliance
Why Join Us?
You’ll be joining Smart Dental Care, an established, clinically led dental organisation where Practice Managers are supported rather than left to manage everything alone.
You’ll have access to:
- A supportive senior management team
- Dedicated HR, recruitment, marketing, finance and compliance support
- Career development and progression opportunities
- Training and professional development
- Marketing support to help grow the practice
- Performance-related bonus opportunities
- The opportunity to make a genuine impact on the future development of the practice
About You

- Experienced in dental practice management, or ready to step up into a Practice Manager role
- Confident leading and motivating a team
- Organised, commercially aware and proactive
- Passionate about patient care and team development
- Comfortable with KPIs, compliance and practice performance
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with both patients and colleagues
