As a Night Support Worker, you will play an important role in ensuring children and young people feel safe, supported, and cared for throughout the night. You will be part of a dedicated team that works together to achieve the best possible outcomes for the young people in our care.
About the Role

We are seeking a Nighttime Support Worker with a Level 3 qualification or higher relevant to the sector (e.g. Health & Social Care, Residential Care, or working with young people).
Key Responsibilities
As a Night Support Worker, you will:
- Support young people to settle at bedtime and resettle if they wake during the night.
- Provide personal care and emotional support where required.
- Complete regular welfare checks and monitor young people's wellbeing.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, safeguarding concerns, and medical needs.
- Administer medication where trained and competent to do so.
- Complete daily recordings, reports, and handovers.
- Undertake household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and preparing the home for the day team.
- Assist with audits, resource preparation, and other tasks that contribute to the smooth running of the service.
- Work in line with children's care plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support plans.
- Contribute to creating a safe, caring, and homely environment.
Hours & Rota
This is a 28.5-hour permanent contract working waking night shifts. (3 nights a week)
Beaulieu House operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and successful applicants will be expected to work a rota that includes weekends and bank holidays.
