At Sycamore Park Care Home, we are seeking a dedicated and reliable Catering Assistant to join our team. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting our chef's with daily meal preparation and general cleaning duties. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food service.
Duties:
- Assist with food preparation and presentation
- Deliver hot trolleys to individual units
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering equipment and supplies
- Assist with cooking duties
-Assist with daily baking
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene
-Wash up after meals. Ensure all crockery and equipment is cleaned and stored appropriately, and that the overall cleaning of the kitchen area and dining areas is carried out effectively
The hours are 8am-6pm, 3 days a week, alternate weekends.
