As a Relief Domestic & Catering Assistant, you'll support the smooth day-to-day running of Chirk Court by helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food service.
You'll assist with cleaning communal areas, supporting kitchen operations, food preparation and meal service, while helping to create a welcoming environment for residents, visitors and colleagues.
No two days are the same. One shift may involve supporting meal preparation and serving residents, while another may focus on maintaining cleanliness standards or supporting the wider team with day-to-day activities around the scheme.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
- Supporting infection prevention and hygiene standards.
- Assisting with food preparation and meal service.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised kitchen environment.
- Following food safety, COSHH and health and safety procedures.
- Completing routine checks and records as required.
- Working collaboratively with catering, care and support colleagues.
- Engaging positively with residents, visitors and colleagues.
- Contributing to a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a cleaning, domestic, hospitality or catering role.
- An understanding of health and safety and COSHH requirements.
- Experience working as part of a team in a customer-focused environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- A willingness to learn and undertake relevant training.
- Experience within a care, housing or support setting would be beneficial but is not essential.
