Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team and maintain high standards of cleanliness across various holiday homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the properties are hygienic, presented well, and welcoming for guests. This position offers an opportunity to work in some beautiful settings with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
An important note. All appliciants are required to hold a valid UK driving licence and have their own transport.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and utility areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning procedures
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable throughout the working shift
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, including window cleaning or carpet maintenance
- Manage laundry drop offs and collections to the local launderette
Qualifications
- Previous experience in or janitorial work is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules and environments
