Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely food delivery
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and professional growth through effective leadership
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to guest preferences
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards to guarantee guest safety
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service and optimal guest satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize efficiency and profitability
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse kitchen teams and fostering a positive work culture
- Solid background in food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and HACCP principles
- Previous restaurant experience with a focus on high-quality food service and customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of hospitality operations, including serving procedures and guest interaction skills
