DELIVERY DRIVER.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated individual for the role of delivery driver.
The purpose of your role is to help with overall abattoir operations, together with responsibility for lamb selection, delivery, quality control and safety measures.
You will report to the Directors and Operations Manager, you will also carry out deliveries to butchers throughout Scotland.
it is preferable to have a solid background of working in the food production industry but not essential as full training will be given. you will be organised, have a hands on approach, a keen eye for detail whilst ensuring all legal requirements are maintained for all relevant documentation. you will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work alone or part of a team. this is an early start and a hands on physical job due to the nature of the goods delivered.
OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliveries to butchers and supermarkets. (Drivers Licence essential)
Loading and selection of carcasses.
Ensure production runs efficiently by working as a team.
Follow food safety and hygene rules carefully and responsibly.

Expected hours. 46 per week. Monday to Saturday. Saturday 11.30 finish.
