Job Overview
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 1 Driver specialising in tipper operations to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting materials to various sites, ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations. Duties
- Operate HGV Class 1 tipper lorries in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
- Safely load, secure, and transport materials to designated locations
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Adhere to scheduled routes and delivery times, ensuring punctuality
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, including handling flatbed loads if required
- Follow all health and safety procedures during operations to minimise risks on the road and at sites
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with relevant categories for tipper operation
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with delivery or construction-related roles
- Knowledge of flatbed handling and securing loads is advantageous
- Strong driving skills with a clean driving record
- Excellent organisational skills to manage schedules efficiently
- Ability to work independently and responsibly under pressure
- Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards within the UK transportation industry
Pay: From £750.00 per week
