Our Real Estate team
Sintons has a strong and experienced Real Estate team acting for a large number of significant and sophisticated developers and investors. We are looking to enhance and grow our team through the appointment of an experienced solicitor.
The team is one of the largest Real Estate teams in the region with 7 partners supported by senior associates, associates, solicitors and paralegals.
The role and requirements
We require a 3 years’ + PQE Solicitor to join our busy Real Estate team with a review to becoming part of our Charity/ Faith sector after our bespoke training for the work that we do in that area. The role will provide a good mix of work enabling the successful candidate to run their own files and support a wider team.
Examples of our work:
- Selling and buying charity property
- Advising charity trustees generally in relation to matters concerning charity and church property
- Leases including the grant of new leases and renewals
- Developments projects including overage
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a team with long established extensive experience across faith-based institutions and other charities, as well as general commercial property expertise.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, highly organised and enthusiastic, who can work quickly and accurately, often within tight timescales, with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will have experience dealing with commercial property transactions, some knowledge of charity law would be useful and experience dealing with charity property would be advantage but not essential as training will be given. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, to deal with a broad range of clients, along with the willingness to provide the highest standard of client care.
