Warehouse operative required.
We are looking for an experienced warehouse operative with a good attitude towards work. This is a fast paced Job and is also physically demanding.
As a warehouse operative your main responsibilities within the team will be; but not limited to.
· To unload and load containers by hand or with a counter balance forklift within the time limit set. (to avoid extra charges to the company)
· To pick and pack orders for customers using a pick sheet in a timely manner.
· To check all orders that have been picked and packed before loading and sending to customers.
· To load and unload lorries and vans either by hand or using a counterbalance forklift truck (license required).
· To adhere to all health and safety rules and requirements, as stated in the risk assessments and safe working procedures.
· To help keep all warehouses and yard areas clean, tidy and free of litter.
· To be able to communicate with your team leader / warehouse manager about any issues that may arise.
Ideal applicants will have:
· At least one year of warehouse operative experience, including picking, packing, loading and unloading containers.
· A good, can-do attitude towards work and a strong work ethic.
· A counterbalance forklift license. (In date, with paper certificate or photo card).
· The ability to work by yourself and as part of a team.
· The ability to use your own initiative.
· Good time keeping required.
· Will be able to work indoors or outside when required.
· Will be flexible within the warehouse operating hours.
· Must be physically fit.
Counterbalance forklift license preferred but not essential.
Working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday to Friday. flexibility required to stay late or start early.
