We are looking for a Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) Manager to join our Training team, delivering and being responsible for the conduct of the ATO’s approved MCC, APS MCC and MCCI(A) courses.
The role will provide management and operational oversight across our Gloucester and Bournemouth sites, ensuring a consistent approach to training delivery, compliance, instructor standards and course quality. Working closely with instructors and training management, you will support the effective day-to-day operation and ongoing development of MCC training.
You will also oversee training conducted within our Boeing 737 and Airbus A320 FNPT II simulators, supporting the development of airline-ready pilots and the continuous improvement of MCC training standards.
This position is based onsite at Gloucestershire Airport and is worked Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for ensuring that the school is in compliance with regulatory requirements with regards to delivery of Multi crew training.
- Defining and monitoring the required quality and standard of training given by the MCCI(A)s.
- Ensuring that all multi pilot training documentation, manuals and courseware are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of the business.
- Ensuring that multi crew training is delivered to meet the Skyborne Airline Academy objectives of high-quality customer focussed training.
- Management and development of Multi Crew courses.
- Lead the management, development and continuous improvement of MCC, APS MCC and MCCI(A) courses to meet regulatory, operational and business requirements.
- Oversee the operation and utilisation of the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737 FNPT II simulators, ensuring training is delivered safely, effectively and in accordance with approved course requirements.
Qualifications
- Hold a current UK Part-FCL MCCI(A) qualification with an EASA Part-FCL MCCI(A) (desirable).
- SFI/TRI and SFE/TRE experience (desirable).
- Previous airline experience.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate and encourage staff, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels.
- Demonstrable record of leadership in a training management role.
- Extensive experience in training as an instructor for professional pilots licence.
