About the Role
We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and experienced Vehicle Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in servicing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining both cars and vans, with a particular focus on engine work and day-to-day mechanical repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on cars and vans.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently.
- Perform engine repairs, rebuilds, and replacements where required.
- Replace and repair components such as brakes, clutches, suspension systems, and timing belts.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timeframes.
- Always follow health and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic working on cars and light commercial vehicles (vans).
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Excellent knowledge of engine repairs and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Relevant automotive qualifications are desirable.
