D&G Bus are looking for PCV drivers to join our new Shrewsbury Hotspur team!
Based at a new depot in Shrewsbury, Hotspur will be part of D&G Bus - a locally driven and locally managed bus company providing a network of quality local bus services throughout the Midlands.
Pay rates: Monday to Friday hourly rates is as follows:
Enhanced hourly rates are offered for work complete on Saturdays
- Saturday Standard rate - £15.06
A further enhanced rate of £16.00 per hour is paid for any rail replacement work undertaken.
Working Hours
We operate Monday to Saturday only – no Sunday working, helping you enjoy a better work-life balance.
Shift patterns vary and are spread across our operating day, typically between 6:00am and 9:00pm, creating a mixture of early, middle, and late shifts and a mixture of short and some longer days.

Responsibilities
- Operate PCV buses safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's mechanical integrity and report any maintenance issues.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers and addressing their inquiries during transit.
- Maintain clear communication with dispatch and other team members regarding schedules and any delays.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of passengers to their destinations while promoting a positive travel experience.
Qualifications Required:
- PCV Licence
- CPC qualification
