We are looking for an Assistant General Manager at Meynell Ingram Arms, Burton on Trent. This role will cover the full operation of the Pub and will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting commercial performance.
The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive, and passionate about hospitality, with strong leadership and operational skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily operations of the site
- Assist with staff rotas and payroll budget control
- Help manage costs and support P&L performance
- Train, supervise, and motivate team members
- Ensure high standards of customer service at all times
- Support compliance with health & safety and legal requirements
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues effectively
- Step in for the General Manager when required
Requirements
- 1 years experience in a pub management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality and customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From £32,000.00 per year
