Based near Trentham, KDM Events deliver a vast range of events for our corporate clients across the country – from indoor and outdoor Team-Building, to themed party evenings, quiz nights, conference management & Audio Visual equipment.
We are seeking to recruit several freelance event instructors on a part-time basis, to add to our team of full-time Event Managers who travel from our Trentham base around the country to physically deliver our events.
On any given day you may be teaching Country Sports skills, instructing a Diamond Labyrinth team building event, dressing & theming a room to create a Hollywood theme or helping to run a Quiz Night!
Responsibility, enthusiasm and the ability to communicate well with people, whilst working both by yourself and as a member of a close-knit team are essential - with the work being interesting, enjoyable and varied.
Experience of or a preference for working outdoors is a distinct advantage - and please note that the loading/unloading of vans & equipment is also a major part of the role, so you need to be prepared to get your hands dirty!
KDM is a seven-day operation and unpredictable hours, occasional weekend work, early starts and late finishes are the norm – hence we have a variety of work available which may fit in around any existing commitments that you may have.
You will need to be aged 18 or over, and a full Driving Licence is essential - the ability to drive regular transit-sized vans is preferred, although not necessarily essential for the right person.
Pay is a fixed daily rate of £140 regardless of working for 4, 8 or 10 hours - overtime becomes payable for longer events.
Transport from our Trentham base and a full uniform are provided.
