We have the following vacancy: Carton Printer
The printer is responsible for setting and operating Lithographic Presses to produce high quality cartons which are consistent and acceptable by our customers.
Applicants must have:
Essential Requirements
- Printing Qualification (e.g. NVQ or equivalent)
- At least three years previous experience as a printer post qualification
- Experience of checking quality of print for colour variation
- Excellent colour differentiation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Methodical approach with the ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines
- Good communication skills
Desirable Requirements
- 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including passes in English and Maths)
- Three years’ experience as a Lithographic printer with a working knowledge of komori presses
- Three years’ experience as a Lithographic printer within the Carton industry
