Southcote Primary School, is looking for a Casual Assistant Caretaker to join our supportive site team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a school or college leaver who wants to gain valuable workplace experience, develop practical skills and make a real difference every day.
No previous caretaker experience is required – we'll provide training and support to help you succeed.
What will you do?
You will help keep our schools safe, welcoming and well-maintained by:
- Supporting the day-to-day running of our school sites
- Helping with basic maintenance, decorating and minor repairs
- Assisting with setting up rooms and spaces for school activities
- Carrying out simple health and safety checks
- Helping to keep the school grounds tidy and attractive
- Working alongside experienced staff who will support your development
