Etills Ltd is a successful manufacturer of water tanks and spill containment. We are looking for an energetic and self-motivated industrial cleaner and factory hand.
The role includes maintaining the cleanliness, safety and operational efficiency of our two factories (heavy industrial) and the associated offices. It involves hard physical labour, frequent lifting and moving of 20kg bags of polymer, standing for extended periods and repetitive tasks.
You will not enjoy this job if you do not relish a physical challenge, or if you cannot maintain a high work rate. It is hard work in a hot environment, but the team is friendly and supportive.
This role is suitable for someone who wants to work within a fast-moving industrial environment. No qualifications or experience are needed - just the determination to work hard as part of the team.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the ability to:
- Follow instructions
- Maintain work rate throughout the day
- Monitor own work to ensure quality
- Follow safety procedures
- Offer help readily
- Communicate effectively in English.
Duties
- Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the factory floor and workstations
- Maintain work rate in order to complete tasks efficiently
- Follow health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks
Abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks confidently
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Contract length: 12 months
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
