Chef de Partie
Carrickfergus
Temp - Tuesday 25th 3pm - 10pm
Salary: £17.23
Key duties:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes.
- Managing and maintaining an assigned section of the kitchen.
- Ensuring food is prepared promptly and according to recipes and specifications.
- Supporting and supervising junior members of the kitchen team.
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation.
- Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and safety standards.
- Minimising food waste and helping to control costs.
- Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials.
- Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef.
- Supporting the wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or an experienced Commis Chef ready to progress.
- Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Excellent organisation, communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
