Job Summary
We are seeking professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisors to ensure the safety and security of public, staff, visitors and to manage egress for events. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
- Manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and ensuring only authorised individuals gain access
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or irregularities
- Respond promptly to any disturbances or emergencies, implementing appropriate procedures
- Provide first aid assistance when required, ensuring the safety and well-being of all persons on site
- Record incidents accurately in security logs and report any concerns to management
- Enforce venue policies regarding behaviour and dress code in a professional manner
- Assist with crowd control during events or busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (or equivalent recognised certification)
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and certification is highly advantageous
- Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for extended periods and respond swiftly when needed
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during special events as required
