Overview
We are seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative (part-time) to join our team, Monday - Friday, 8am-12pm (4 hours). This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards within a office/workshop/kitchen area. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering high-quality cleaning. This position offers flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment, with paid work included.
Responsibilities
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and products to ensure all areas are hygienic and presentable
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, and cleaning materials as needed
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and security
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Flexibility to work part-time hours as scheduled, including early mornings or late evenings if required
