We’re looking for a compassionate, proactive, and reliable Evening and Weekend Support Worker to join our dedicated team. You’ll help deliver vital out-of-hours services in a safe, welcoming environment.
What You’ll Do:
· Provide tailored support, signposting, and advocacy for service users
· Serve meals/snacks and maintain a clean kitchen area
· Facilitate access to essential services like showers and laundry
· Complete assessments, referrals, and client information forms
· Promote local opportunities and help remove access barriers
· Collaborate on planning and delivering Day Centre activities
· Ensure efficient use of resources and contribute to service improvement
· Participate in debriefs and training for continuous development.
· Any other reasonable duties
What We’re Looking For:
Essential
· Experience working with vulnerable or marginalised individuals
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Organised, reliable, and able to maintain confidentiality
Desirable
· Knowledge of local support services and referral pathways
· Experience in support or outreach roles
· Understanding of trauma-informed and person-centred approaches
