Static Security Officer
Location: Bury, BL9 9
Hours: Part-time – 8.75 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: £13.50 per hour

About the Role
Cole Security Services Ltd is seeking a professional, reliable and customer-focused Static Security Officer to join our team in Bury.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming environment while providing a professional front-of-house security service. You will be the first point of contact for staff, visitors and contractors and will play an important role in protecting the site, its people and assets.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the reception desk and provide a professional first point of contact.
· Monitor CCTV and report any suspicious or unusual activity.
· Control access to the site, ensuring staff, visitors and contractors are appropriately identified and authorised.
· Maintain accurate records and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
· Conduct regular perimeter patrols and security checks.
· Lock and secure the premises at the end of the required period.
· Ensure the site is correctly armed and all security procedures have been completed.
· Respond appropriately to incidents and escalate matters when required.
· Maintain a professional, courteous and customer-focused approach at all times.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues and site personnel to maintain high security standards.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
· SIA licence – Door Supervisor licence preferred.
· Professional, smart and well presented.
· Reliable and punctual, with excellent time-management skills.
· Confident and professional when dealing with staff, visitors and contractors.
· An effective communicator with good interpersonal skills.
· Observant, attentive and able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
· Customer-focused and committed to delivering a high-quality service.
· Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
· Comfortable working within established security procedures and responding appropriately to incidents.
