Job Title: Warehouse Operative (6 month fixed term contract)
Location: Exeter
Work Pattern: 20 hours per week, PM shift
Summary of Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our team in Exeter on a 6 month fixed term contract. This is a part-time evening role, ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are handled, processed and dispatched correctly to support daily operations.
Responsibilities:

Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately for dispatch

Receive and check incoming deliveries against documentation

Safely store goods in the correct warehouse locations

Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment

Carry out stock checks and report discrepancies

Use warehouse systems and equipment where required

Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures

Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational targets

Skills and Knowledge:

Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not essential

Good attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong organisational skills

Basic understanding of health and safety practices

Good level of physical fitness for manual handling tasks
Desirable:

Experience using handheld scanners or warehouse management systems

Forklift or other warehouse equipment certification
