At Carphin Farm in North East Fife, we sustainably manage our deer population as part of our overall land and conservation management. As this has become a key part of life at Carphin, we are looking to develop a farm to fork business, focusing on venison initially, and hopefully beef, chicken and pork in future.
We have an exciting role available for an individual with a genuine interest in butchery work within an extraordinary environment. The job has excellent potential for growth for someone keen to use their initiative and vision, and grow within a small team.
All venison butchery training, as required, will be provided by an experienced venison butcher. Applications are welcome for full and part time applicants, as well as freelance butchers.
