Concrete Finisher – Doncaster
Net Temps are currently recruiting experienced Precast Concrete Finishers for our client based in Doncaster (DN5).
(Must have Precast Concrete Finishing Experience)
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled concrete finishers with previous precast concrete experience to join a well-established team. The successful candidates will be responsible for finishing, repairing and preparing precast concrete products to a high quality standard while meeting production deadlines.
Pay & Benefits
- £16.10 per hour + holiday pay
- Rate negotiable depending on experience
- 4-stage pay grade system with the opportunity to progress and receive a pay increase within weeks based on performance
- Full-time, ongoing work
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Location
DN5, Doncaster
Own transport is essential due to the location of the site.
The Role
As a Precast Concrete Finisher, your duties will include:
- Finishing and smoothing precast concrete products
- Levelling and shaping concrete surfaces
- Carrying out concrete repairs and remedial work
- Filling blowholes and patching damaged sections
- Removing excess concrete to achieve a high-quality finish
- Acid cleaning and bagging-in
- Using hand and powered finishing tools, including trowels, floats and edgers
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- General labouring duties
- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy working environment
- Ensuring finished products meet the required quality standards
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience working with precast concrete
- Experience in concrete repairs, acid cleaning and bagging-in
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- The ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines
- Experience using concrete-finishing hand and powered tools
- The ability to read and understand drawings
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Own transport to the site
A CSCS card is NOT required for this position.
