Job Summary
As a Key Holder, you will be a vital leader within our retail environment, responsible for supporting daily site operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a secure and organized pub atmosphere. You will act as a trusted authority in the absence of management, supervising team members, managing standards, and fostering a positive drinking/dining experience. Your energetic approach and leadership skills will drive team motivation, operational efficiency, and sales growth.
Duties
- Open and close the pub confidently, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately
- Perform daily senior activities, including sales transactions, customer interactions, and stock replenishment
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining high standards of professionalism
- Oversee inventory management, including stock organization, loss prevention measures, and stock counts
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols to create a safe environment for staff and customers
- Provide training and guidance to team members on sales techniques, product knowledge, and organizational skills
Experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality or customer service environments
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively across diverse roles
- Strong communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management and administrative tasks
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and customer engagement strategies is a plus
