Key Responsibilities
- Work across a variety of brands from scooters to large capacity motorcycles and everything in between for customers and showroom sold bikes.
- You will be responsible for undertaking diagnostic, repair, PDI and servicing work in an efficient and safe manner, identifying non-routine defects or additional faults either in the workshop or during road tests. Obtain appropriate authorisation if additional work is required on a vehicle and ensure all work is carried out to the highest standard.
- Undertake vehicle road testing for diagnosis and to test repairs.
- Carry out appraisals on used motorcycles as required.
- Work closely with the Workshop manager & Service team to ensure they are kept informed of the progress of work on customer vehicles, and that they are fully briefed on work completed or delayed.
- Maintain a clean & safe work bay & assist the team with the general housekeeping of the workshop areas.
- Be open to trying new methods of work designed to improve efficiency.
- Carry out other tasks not listed but required by the business when required.
Qualifications
- Proven experience of skills and knowledge as a qualified technician.
- Full UK bike licence.
- Problem solving is important as is the ability to work to targets and estimated job times.
- Strong work ethic & excellent time management
- Good communication skills
- Committed to delivering an excellent customer experience with a focus on a “first time fix” mentality.
- Be a Team Player, assist other technicians & colleagues when required.
MOT Tester qualifications or willingness to be trained is desirable but not essential.

Hours of Work
- 37 hours per week. Mon - Fri.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
Experience:
- Motorcycle or Car technician: 4 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Full UK bike licence (required)
