We are looking for a motivated and experienced Area Support Manager to join our team in the Hertfordshire/Hemel area and play a key role in delivering an exceptional service across a portfolio of cleaning sites.
Working closely with the Account Manager, you will support the day-to-day operational delivery of your sites, ensuring our teams have the guidance, support and resources they need to deliver consistently high standards.
You will be a visible and hands-on leader, responsible for engaging, developing and supporting your teams while building strong relationships with clients and ensuring our service standards are consistently met.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8 hours each day varied for business needs & requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Account Manager with day-to-day operations across your sites.
- Leading, motivating and developing cleaning teams.
- Ensuring high standards of service, quality and compliance.
- Conducting audits, monitoring performance and providing coaching.
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training.
- Managing client feedback and resolving complaints.
- Monitoring stock levels and supporting payroll queries.
- Providing hands-on cleaning support when required.
- Promoting additional services to existing and new clients.
- Ensuring Health & Safety and company standards are maintained.
Requirements:
- Experience leading and developing a team.
- Strong communication and people-management skills.
- A proactive, organised and solution-focused approach.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A strong understanding of excellent cleaning standards.
- Ability to travel between sites.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required.
- The successful applicant will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
