Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, utensils, and equipment to uphold health and safety standards

- Support chefs and kitchen staff in cooking activities when needed, ensuring timely service delivery
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently to keep the kitchen tidy
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and cookware are properly stored and sanitized after use
- Help with setting up and clearing dining areas during service times in hospitality settings
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and maintain a secure working environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and food safety standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently under pressure
