Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Complex Needs TEAM LEADER to join our team in Long Eaton. This is a new role that we have available to support a client.
Based in the heart of our community, this role is vital in helping our service users overcome challenges and achieve personal growth, aligning with our core values of compassion, independence, and respect.
Responsibilities TEAM LEADER
Overseeing the daily running of the unit with the manager.
Ensuring team work together and follow guidelines set out in care plan and PBS.
Support and develop team members to progress and develop new skills.
Ensure paper work , incident logs, medication logs, accident form etc all correct.
Communication between the unit , Manager, outside professionals are all to the highest standard.
Highlight and training needs.
Audits, checks, and logs all as per company policy.
- Support during challenging behaviours
- Experience in supporting individual's who self harm.
- Experience with working with PBS plans
- Strong communication skills
- Offer emotional reassurance and helping manage challenges such as anxiety, mood changes, remain alert at all times.
- Support service users with daily activities, promoting independence and confidence.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and effective support.
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate records
- Manage challenging behaviour
- Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging environment.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices
- Proven experience working with individuals with complex needs.
- Strong communication skills essential.
- Experience in developing or following care plans.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Compassionate attitude and ability to work independently.
- Ability to handle challenging situations with patience.
