Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality massage treatments to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences.
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue and/or aromatherapy massages.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Keep accurate records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend suitable therapies or products when appropriate.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times.
- Uphold professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and client privacy at all times.
- Stay informed about new massage techniques, industry developments, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
Requirements
- recognised qualification in Massage Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid registration or licencing as required by local health authorities.
- Proven experience in delivering a variety of massage techniques with excellent client care skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen attentively to clients’ needs.
- Ability to work flexibly including evenings and weekends if required.
- A professional demeanour with a friendly approach that fosters client trust and comfort.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to massage therapy practice.
