Qualified Dental Nurse – Full Time
Town House Dental Practice is seeking a friendly, professional, and qualified Dental Nurse to join our team on a full-time basis.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- One Saturday per month: 8:00am – 5:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and supporting our clinical team in providing high-quality dental treatment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and supportive practice environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, preparing instruments, materials, and treatment rooms.
- Ensure patient comfort and provide reassurance throughout treatment.
- Maintain high standards of cross-infection control, sterilisation, and cleanliness.
- Accurately update and maintain patient records using practice management software.
- Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions.
- Support reception and administrative duties when required, including appointment scheduling and patient communication.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and practice policies.
- Promote good oral health by educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
Requirements
- Qualified Dental Nurse with a recognised dental nursing qualification.
- Current GDC registration is essential.
- Previous experience in a dental practice is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good IT skills and confidence using dental practice software.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide exceptional patient care.
- A professional, reliable, and positive attitude.
