Part-Time Sports Coach – Be You Active
Location: Guildford & surrounding areas
Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Hours: Initially around 6-8 hours per week, increasing to 10–15+ hours from the end of September.

Be You Active is a growing sports coaching company delivering high-quality PE lessons, after-school clubs, holiday camps and toddler sports sessions across Surrey. Our mission is to help every child develop confidence, resilience and a love for being active in a fun, safe and inclusive environment.
The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coach to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in schools, with plenty of opportunity for additional hours as the business expands.
You’ll be delivering engaging PE lessons and after-school clubs to primary school children while creating a positive and energetic learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fun and engaging PE lessons.
- Lead after-school sports clubs.
- Set up and pack away equipment.
- Encourage participation and confidence in every child.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour management and safeguarding.
- Represent Be You Active professionally in schools.
Essential Requirements
- A passion for working with children.
- Confident leading sports and physical activities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic and punctual.
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one).
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
Desirable
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience working in primary schools.
- First Aid qualification.
- Safeguarding training.
