Look no further, because Newquay Town Council is seeking a Facilities Cleaning Operative to join our team!
As part of our Facilities Cleaning team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our public toilets and other council-owned properties are kept in tip-top shape. Your attention to detail will be key to making sure everything is clean, safe and secure for our residents and visitors alike. With 13 sets of toilets to manage, you'll never be short of something to keep you busy!
But don't worry, you won't be alone in your duties. Whilst you'll be working independently, you'll have the support of our Deputy Estates Manager, who will be on hand to provide guidance and advice.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily tasks, ensuring that local cleaning scheduled are being followed and that high quality standards have been met.
Assistant the Deputy Estates Manager (Facilities) with large scale cleaning activities as and when required.
Assistant with the cleaning and maintenance of Town's public toilets and open spaces.
Undertake other duties that may be required from time to time within the general scope of the post.

25 days annual leave in addition to Public and Bank Holiday. This rises to 28 days annual leave after 5 years service. Continuous service does apply and previous service within a Local Authority will count.
