Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Underfloor Heating Installer (Wet) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing wet underfloor heating system. This role requires technical expertise, physical endurance, and attention to detail to ensure efficient and high-quality installations.
Duties
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications for underfloor heating systems
- Prepare work sites by ensuring all necessary materials and tools are available
- Install pipework, manifolds, and related components according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble and secure system components
- Connect underfloor heating systems to existing plumbing infrastructure using appropriate plumbing techniques
- Perform pressure testing and system commissioning to ensure proper operation
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials such as pipes, insulation panels, and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project phase
- Troubleshoot installation issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times during installation processes
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and plumbing fittings
- Mechanical knowledge related to heating systems and building services
- Competence in using basic maths for measurements, calculations, and system layouts
- Ability to perform carpentry tasks such as cutting insulation or fixing supports when required
- Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks and prolonged periods of standing or bending during installations
- Familiarity with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment between sites (preferred)
- Assembly skills for fitting components accurately according to technical specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship and safety compliance
Pay: £200.00 per day
