Job Overview
Jumping Beans Day Nursery is a family-run setting with a homely, welcoming feel, caring for children from babies through to school age. Our days are busy, varied and full of opportunities to support children through play, routines, outdoor learning and positive relationships.
We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our nursery team. The role will vary depending on the position applied for, but all opportunities involve helping children feel safe and supported as they learn and develop.

Responsibilities
Your role may include:
- Supporting children during play, learning activities and daily routines
- Helping to provide a safe, clean and well-organised nursery environment
- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
- Encouraging children’s communication, confidence, independence and social skills
- Supporting personal care routines, including meals, nappy changing, toileting and rest times
- Observing children and responding to their individual needs
- Providing 1:1 support where required, including for children with additional learning needs
- Supporting outdoor play, local walks, outings or transport arrangements where appropriate
- Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies
- Working as part of the team to help each day run smoothly
Skills and Qualities
We are looking for someone who is:
- Kind, patient and caring
- Able to communicate well with children, families and colleagues
- Confident working as part of a team
- Organised and able to support daily routines
- Willing to learn and develop
- Committed to providing safe, high-quality childcare
Experience in a nursery, childcare or early years setting is desirable. A recognised childcare qualification, such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years, is preferred for some roles, but we are also happy to hear from applicants with an interest in working with children.
A driving licence is desirable for some roles but not essential.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
