Job Purpose
The Chief Executive Officer leads the strategy, performance and sustainability of Community Savings Ltd (CSL), a charity supervised by the Jersey Financial Services Commission and regulated by the Jersey Charity Commission.
Working with the Board, the CEO ensures CSL is financially sustainable, operationally effective, compliant and focused on improving financial inclusion for vulnerable islanders.
The CEO is CSL’s principal ambassador, maintaining strong relationships with regulators, funders, donors, partners, financial institutions and community stakeholders.
The role also creates a values-led culture that enables employees and volunteers to deliver excellent outcomes for members, customers and the wider community.
The CEO acts as Deputy Money Laundering Reporting Officer (DMLRO), supporting suspicious activity reporting in the MLRO’s absence.
