About EC Logistics:
EC Logistics is a growing nationwide vehicle logistics company specialising in professional vehicle movements across the UK. We pride ourselves on delivering reliable, efficient, and customer-focused transport solutions for a wide range of automotive clients.
As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated and proactive Part-Time Recruiter and driver support team member to help us attract, onboard and initially support high-quality drivers to strengthen our growing operations team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with recruitment, logistics, or people-management experience who enjoys building relationships and identifying quality individuals.
You will play a key role in sourcing, screening, and engaging professional drivers while working closely with our management team to support the continued growth of the business.
Experience within the vehicle logistics, automotive, transport, or recruitment sectors would be a strong advantage, although not essential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and attract high-quality truck/trailer and trade plate drivers.
- Review CVs and conduct initial candidate screening interviews.
- Coordinate interviews and onboarding with management.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and candidate databases.
- Deliver a professional and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Support ongoing recruitment campaigns and growth initiatives.
- Initially support new drivers.
- Developed and streamline the recruitment process and work with the management team to improve training and driver retention.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous recruitment, HR, customer service, or logistics experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, organised, and results driven.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Confident using email, phone, and online recruitment platforms.
- Experience within vehicle logistics or transport recruitment is highly desirable.
