Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and regulations
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently to minimise downtime
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical hazards or faults
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections conducted
- Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety legislation and company policies

Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician within commercial or industrial settings
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws
- Demonstrable electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring systems, circuit breakers, transformers, and control systems
- Relevant qualifications such as a recognised Electrician's certification or equivalent are essential
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong problem-solving skills with the capacity to diagnose issues efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work
