The job in a nutshell:
Support the achievement of the company’s sales turnover, delivery and profit targets by ensuring that jobs are manufactured correctly, cost effectively and delivered on time in accordance with customer specifications and quality requirements.
What you will do:

- Ensure all areas within Colorlites has sufficient time to print, spray or foil product to the expected standards.
- Ensure that the workload for all departments is scheduled according to customer requirements by working with the Demand Planner and wider team.
- Regularly monitor workflow against deadline targets to ensure on time delivery.
- Ensure production and quality processes, equipment being used and the working environments are all conducive to producing high quality products and delivering a high quality service.
- Analyse process workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout. Challenge the norm, recommend changes where necessary and implement.
- Directly manage the team and carry out regular reviews and appraisals where required.
- Work closely with the HR team, H&S team and Factory Trainer to develop a high performance, safety conscious workforce.
- Support the Planning Team and Warehouse Team with up to date, accurate stock level information on a regular basis.
- Regular communication with the senior management team to update on business progress and review schedules and deadlines if necessary.
- Ensure that client confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Ensure that all working practices comply with Health and Safety legislation.
- Embrace the company’s mission statement and commitment to a sustainable future, at all times considering our impact on the environment, making suggestions for improvements where relevant.
- Carry out any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.
What you need to be successful:
- A recognised manufacturing qualification such as Lean.
- You will have experience of working in a manufacturing environment at a managerial level.
- You must understand the technical aspects of a product — specifically materials and manufacturing process.
- You must be a strong leader and manager — a motivator of people.
- Time and self-management skills are a must; you will be used to working to deadlines and must be comfortable working under pressure.
- The products we produce are second to none, therefore attention to detail is essential.
- You will have an understanding of Microsoft products coupled with solid computer skills.

What this role offers:
- Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hrs/week, permanent
- Location: Chichester, West Sussex (On-site)
