Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join Birchwood Dental Practice.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' teeth and gums to diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, crowns/onlays, dentures, root canals, orthodontic aligner treatment, whitening & bonding.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health regulations.
- Collaborate with the dental hygienist to ensure a high standard of patient care.
- Collaborate with implantologist and dentist with special interest in endodontics to ensure high standard of patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in dentistry through continuous education and postgraduate training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry recognised by the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Performer Number
- Hep B Immunisations
- Enhanced DBS
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential.
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a friendly environment.

We are a mixed NHS/Private Dental Practice within Hertfordshire, easily commutable from North London and accessible from the A1. We have free off street parking. We are a foundation training practice with excellent facilities and equipment to practice high standards of dentistry. We have availability for a new dental associate to join us from the mid- September/October(start date negotiable), for the following days: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The hours are 9am to 5.15pm with lunch break. Extra days or hours can be available ad hoc. All levels of experience are welcome to apply.
