FLT / Stores Operative
Location: ST3
Hours: Monday–Friday (Days)
Pay: £13.65 per hour. 1.5 for overtime
Contract: Temp to Perm
One off are looking for a reliable FLT/Stores Operative to join their busy manufacturing and dispatch team in the ST3 area. This role combines Counterbalance FLT work with stores duties, supporting the smooth movement of materials and accurate stock control across the site.
The Role
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and confidently
- Moving stock between warehouse, production and dispatch locations
- Handling materials and supporting daily workflow
- Completing and checking dispatch notes
- Recording stock movements accurately
- Keeping stores areas organised, tidy and compliant with H&S
- Working closely with dispatch and production teams to meet daily targets
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience in a warehouse/stores environment
- Strong attention to detail when completing paperwork
- Confident handling materials and moving stock
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety‑focused
