Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in overseeing daily business operations, supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and achieving organizational goals. This role assists with team leadership, operational efficiency, inventory management, and maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Manager in planning, organizing, and supervising daily operations.
- Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve performance goals.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by resolving complaints and addressing customer needs.
- Monitor employee attendance, productivity, and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in recruiting, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff.
- Maintain inventory levels.
- Prepare reports on sales, performance, and operational activities.
- Ensure workplace safety, cleanliness, and compliance with company procedures.
- Handle cash management, opening and closing procedures, and other administrative tasks.
- Act as Manager in their absence and make operational decisions as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
