Job Description: Assistant Manager
Are you enthusiastic, hard-working, and ready to take on a new challenge? We're seeking individuals with at least 1 Year of Assistant Manager sales experience to join our team. As an integral part of our stores, you'll embody the essence of great customer service, ensuring every interaction leaves a positive and lasting impression.
You will be dealing with the regular expectations of a small retail store. We like our managers to run their branches with their own flair and creativity, from customer service and displays to staff recruitment (rather than being dictated to!).
We are a small business (Family Run) - so we like to feel that the senior members of the team are an extension of the family, not just another payroll number. Your thoughts and opinions are valued and encouraged to help drive the business's success!
Assistant Manager / Manager:
36-40 hours a week Normally
During Peak Periods (August - September), this will increase to approximately 44-50.
The average per year would be about 36-40 hours a week
We are Currently Open :
Monday to Thursday - 9:30am - 6.00pm
Saturday 10.00am - 6.30pm
Sunday 11:00an - 5pm
And Closed:
Friday
Weekends are arranged between you and your colleague, with flexibility (e.g., alternating weekends or days). However, Weekends being our busiest times, please note that it will be a requirement to work them during our peak season!!
We are a seasonal business! During the peak season, hours will be heavy, as it's our busiest period of the year. (10th August - 10 Sept)
During our peak season, we will be opening earlier, closing later, and opening 7 days a week for 3 weeks — with the assistance of your team!
As you can probably understand, there will also be a restriction on time off during this period.

Depending on Age/Experience/Role -
Assistant Managers - Starting Pay £13.50 (27.5K - Based on 40 Hour Week)
This is the Basic Salary Starting Salary (after probation). - Not Including - Bonuses, Commissions, 12.07% Holiday Accrual!
We pay for every minute you work! So any overtime, staying late, helping out - you're paid - it's only fair!
If you are succesful there could be an opportunity to become a Manager, within 6 Months and an increase in salary.
