An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time Sales Negotiator to work on our Hinckley site in Leicester. Family-run for 130 years, we strive in delivering exceptional service to our customers.
We're looking for someone to create an outstanding home buying experience that builds trust and converts interest into successful home purchases. To represent the company with professionalism and expertise, guiding customers through one of the most important decisions of their lives while achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience
- Deliver a welcoming, knowledgeable and professional service to every customer.
- Leading escorted viewings with our customers
- Understand customers' needs and recommend suitable homes.
- Assist customers with the colour choices for kitchens/tiles/carpets
- Guide customers through the home buying process, explaining options clearly and confidently.
- Maintain regular communication throughout the customer journey to ensure a positive experience.
- Ensure the sales office, show homes and surrounding areas are presented to the highest standard.
- Promote the company's brand and values in every customer interaction.
Product Knowledge
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of all developments, house types, specifications and pricing.
- Understand local market conditions and competitor developments.
- Keep up to date with relevant purchasing schemes, incentives and industry developments.
Compliance
- Comply with all relevant legislation, including the New Homes Quality Code, Consumer Code requirements (where applicable), GDPR and anti-money laundering procedures.
- Ensure all sales activities are conducted ethically and professionally.
Team Working
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across Sales, Construction, Customer Care and Head Office functions to ensure clear communication and priorities.
- Share knowledge and best practice with the wider sales team.
- Support colleagues across developments when required.
- Liaising with Site and Assistant Site Managers
- Undertake additional duties appropriate to the role, skills, and level of competence as reasonably requested.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of Health & Safety requirements including emergency procedures and hazard reporting
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure full compliance with GDPR and company data protection policies when handling customer personal information
Relevant Qualifications or Experience Required:
Essential
- Experience in a customer-facing sales environment.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and negotiate confidently.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Commercial awareness with a customer-first mindset.
- Competent IT skills including CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Desirable
- Experience selling new build homes or within the housebuilding industry.
- Knowledge of the home buying process.
- Understanding of mortgage and Help to Buy or successor schemes where applicable.
Days of work: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday
Weekday hourly rate: £13.03
Weekend hourly rate: £19.54
Pay: £13.03-£19.54 per hour
