Sports Videographer & Content Creator — Samba Soccer Schools
Central London (Covent Garden HQ) + pitch-side at our venues · Part-time (Fridays + weekend filming) · £15/hour
Brazilian football, brought to life on screen.
Samba Soccer Schools teaches children the game the Brazilian way — skill, flair, ginga, joy. We're across the UK with a fast-growing community of families and coaches, and we're looking for a videographer/editor who can capture that magic and turn it into scroll-stopping short-form content.
This isn't a desk job cutting other people's footage. You'll be filming it — on the pitch, at sessions, catching the moment a shy kid scores their first goal or a six-year-old pulls off an elastico.
The role
Your week looks like this:
- Fridays — based at our central London head office in Covent Garden, with your own dedicated desk and setup. Most Fridays you'll be editing; some Fridays you'll be out on-site filming.
- Weekends — a minimum of two hours at one of our venues, capturing content from live classes: the kids, the coaching, the energy.
You'll be filming and editing short-form clips — mostly punchy 20-second pieces for Instagram and TikTok, plus the occasional longer cut for YouTube. You'll always have a clear content plan to work from and you'll be directed by our Marketing Director — so you can focus on what you do best: shoot it, cut it, make it brilliant.
This is part-time now, with a genuine view to grow into a full-time role as we scale.
You'll need to
- Film in 4K and own your own kit — you turn up ready to shoot. We do have tripods/ sound, lighting and Sony Cameras to be used too.
- Edit fast and to a high standard — we care hugely about turnaround time; you work quickly and know your software inside out
- Have a real eye for sports and content — you understand how Instagram, TikTok and short-form actually work, and what makes people stop scrolling
- Bring a strong portfolio of short-form video you've shot and edited yourself
- Be comfortable and confident working around children — this role involves working with kids, so a DBS check is required and safeguarding awareness is essential
To apply
Send us 2–3 examples of short-form videos you've shot and edited — that tells us more than any CV. Add a quick line on your kit and your availability for Fridays + weekends, and if shortlisted, we'll invite you to Google meet call to discuss your application further.
Pay: £14.50 per hour
