About the Role
Oakfield Estate Agents is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our Block Management department based at our Head Office in St Leonards-on-Sea.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong accounts background who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to become an integral part of a growing business.
You'll work closely with our Account Manager, supporting in the financial management of a portfolio of residential developments. No two days are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills in specialist property accounting.

Your responsibilities will be varied but will include:
- Assisting with credit control and arrears recovery.
- Supporting the preparation of year-end accounts.
- Raising service charge and ground rent demands.
- Uploading budgets and sending these to clients.
- Uploading and processing supplier invoices.
- Producing reports where required for the accounts team.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in an accounts role.
- Is organised, methodical and has excellent attention to detail.
- Is confident working with numbers and financial systems.
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Can prioritise their workload and work to deadlines.
- Has good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Previous experience within property management or service charge accounting would be beneficial, but we are happy to provide training for the right candidate.
