What You'll Be Doing
As our Coffee Shop Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, ensuring every shift operates smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing team.
- Key-holder
- Creating a welcoming atmosphere where customers receive exceptional service every time.
- Managing staff rotas, holidays and labour costs.
- Recruiting, training and coaching new team members.
- Monitoring stock levels, placing orders and reducing waste.
- Ensuring food safety, hygiene and health & safety standards are always met.
- Managing daily cash handling, banking and reporting.
- Driving sales through excellent customer engagement and local marketing initiatives.
- Handling customer feedback professionally and resolving issues quickly.
- Working closely with senior management to achieve business targets and continually improve performance.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who leads by example and enjoys being hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a coffee shop, café, hospitality or retail environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence managing busy service periods and solving problems under pressure.
- Experience with stock control, ordering and managing costs.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts when required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
